INNOVISION MARKETING GROUP LAUNCHES NEW HISPANIC DIVISION – INNOVISION ESPAÑOL TO EXPAND INTO UNDERSERVED HISPANIC MARKET

SAN DIEGO, July 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — In their continued efforts to become a national advertising agency, San Diego-based InnoVision Marketing Group launched InnoVision Español, adding to its portfolio of in-house services that include digital media, traditional media, web development, design, public relations, film production and more.

InnoVision Español will serve businesses and brands wishing to reach the Hispanic community and Hispanic-oriented customers and businesses.

An important and valuable sector of the whole country and San Diego CountyInnoVision’s Hispanic team is representative of this community, which represents a very large percentage of San Diego County.

Hispanic consumers remain an underserved demographic for many marketers. Since the Hispanic population in the United States is 18.7% in 2020, and about 34% in San Diego, only 6% of overall industry investment goes to the Hispanic community, according to the Hispanic Marketing Consulting.

“Many of our team members are either Mexican-Americans, Mexican-Americans or South America. Spanish is their first language. In fact, our two oldest members lead the new Hispanic division – Giselle Camposour senior vice president, senior creative director and Jose Carrillo, our senior vice president and executive artistic director. Marketing to the Hispanic community is an art, and Giselle and Jose not only understand it, they’ve mastered it,” says Ric MilitiCEO and Executive Creative Director of InnoVision Marketing Group.

“Marketing to a specific ethnic group is very different from marketing to the English-speaking population. Considerations should include accurate colloquial translation of the message, use of slang, inappropriate innuendo, values and much more. Our Hispanic team at InnoVision is part of the Hispanic team community, so the message is much more authentic,” he says.

“Growing up in a Mexican-American family, I’ve witnessed what it’s like to not see your culture or language represented in advertising and the impact the lack of connection can have on an audience. It’s important to me to create stories that the Hispanic market can connect with and make sense of based on how the message is delivered. -titles or are simply replicas of English messaging is no longer enough. I’m excited to bring that authenticity to the Hispanic marketing mix,” says Giselle Campos, Sr. Vice President/Sr. Creative Director of Marketing Group InnoVision.

InnoVision has been running Hispanic campaigns for clients such as Palomar Health, Penske Automotive, Valley View Casino and Fresh Start Surgical Gifts for several years now, so formalizing the division was only a matter of time. This opens up the opportunity for the company to serve an even wider audience of successful Hispanic businesses that make up a large portion of the San Diego community and, more importantly, bring them to light.

Representing brands in multiple categories including airports, automotive, fast food, catering, healthcare, soft drinks, casinos, tribal government, economic development and non-profit organizations, the agency serves clients across the United States.
