Marks & Spencer appoints Leeds performance marketing agency Prolific North
Marks & Spencer has recruited a new performance marketing agency, following a competitive bidding process.
Journey Further will be responsible for the brand’s organic growth strategy, as the Leeds-based agency seeks to generate “high-quality” digital PR coverage, for its menswear, womenswear, lingerie and childrenswear lines.
This will focus on creating and measuring relevant content using the company’s proprietary tools to improve relevance and search rankings.
“Journey Further stood out throughout the pitch process with their unique relevance-focused approach to digital PR and SEO and their innovative data-driven proposition. We loved their creative thinking and can’t wait to see how they bring their ideas to life,” said Nick Andrews, senior research manager at Marks & Spencer.
Journey Further, which also has offices in Manchester and London, will provide additional creative support on an ad hoc basis.
“Marks & Spencer is a dream client for us, a perfect fit with our extensive retail experience. We are excited to use our performance-driven approach to support the brand’s digital transformation journey,” added Beth Nunnington, Director of Public Relations at Journey Further.
