Boherbue Co-op in County Cork is looking for a Hardware Counter Salesperson with proven sales experience.

The candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to prioritize work; and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Duties will include providing advice and support to customers on a wide range of hardware and DIY inputs, among other roles.

MSD on-fam sales representative

MSD Animal Health is looking to recruit an Animal Health Intelligence On-Farm Sales Representative.

The successful candidate will provide field sales and technical service support to farmers, agricultural staff and traders.

Duties will include responsibility for sales and product market development in the Leinster region.

The candidate will need a proven track record of selling and/or marketing to a farmer customer base, among other requirements.

Roles at Progressive Genetics

Cattle breeding and milk recording company Progressive Genetics is looking to fill two positions.

There is an opening for an EDIY (Electronic DIYer) Dairy Recording Technician in the Templemore area of ​​County Tipperary.

The main duties of this position include the organization and implementation of milk recording in a large number of herds in the region.

Progressive Genetics is also looking for a milk recording contractor in the Monaghan/Cavan area.

Candidates for this position should be familiar with dairy farming and willing to work at milking time.

EDIY Technician (Munster Cattle)

Cattle farming and herd management company Munster Bovine is also looking for an EDIY Technician, to provide equipment and know-how to farmers in the Lismore/Ballyduff area of ​​County Waterford.

The successful candidate will have various responsibilities, including planning and timely delivery of recording equipment (meters, data handlers, flasks, etc.) to DIY milk recording producers in the relevant region.

Candidates should have knowledge of the dairy industry, a full driver’s license and basic computer skills.


Animal health products supplier Agristock, based in Co. Tipperary, is looking for a sales representative to deal with Co. Kilkenny.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain and expand the company’s customer base and address customer issues.

The candidate should have a good understanding and interest in farming practices and a keen interest in sales.

Social Media Specialist

Agriland is looking to hire a social media specialist to take ownership of our social media presence and performance.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) developing and executing a social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and identification public.

In terms of requirements, the candidate should have a proven track record in community and social media management, preferably at a well-known brand or agency (among other requirements).

Dairy Farm Helpers

A few Dairy Farm Assistant positions are currently available.

A farm in County Roscommon with over 300 animals and 36 milking parlors is looking for experienced staff. Free accommodation is available.

The successful candidate has the option of becoming an assistant farm manager.

A County Tipperary Dairy Farm is also looking for a Dairy Farm Operator for evening milkings, herding cattle and general farm duties. Accommodation will be provided.

Finally, a dairy farm in County Meath is looking for an Agricultural Assistant for a permanent position.

Candidates should be experienced milkers with a good knowledge of stock management.
