UAVIA and Parrot Announce Technology and Marketing Partnership | SUAS News

UAVIA and Parrot have announced the availability of the UAVIA Inside version of the ANAFI Ai, which will be widely available to customers of the UAVIA robotics platform from June 2022.
This product integrates UAVIA DroneOS as the first ANAFI Ai flight mission created by external developers with Parrot AirSDK.

Parrot ANAFI Ai is the first 4G drone. It enables autonomous navigation, real-time video streaming and remote management from the secure web interfaces of the UAVIA robotics platform.

The ANAFI Ai UAVIA Inside can complement drone fleets accessible from the UAVIA cloud platform offering an unrivaled mix of features in terms of weight, autonomy and 4K video performance.

This product launch breaks new ground by streamlining routine and emergency use cases in complex environments, enabling pervasive collaboration and better situational awareness in the decision-making process.

Such a lightweight and affordable product with cutting-edge performance and features made available through the joint efforts of two tech champions is a game-changer that will see drones become more widely used across many industries.

The ANAFI Ai UAVIA Inside integrates the advantages of Parrot AirSDK, the first development software kit for autonomous drones. It allows developers to create flight missions. It provides a breakthrough technological architecture for loading and executing code directly on ANAFI Ai. Developers can program custom flight missions with access to all drone sensors, connectivity interfaces, and autopilot features.

Thanks to Parrot AirSDK, UAVIA was able to integrate its DroneOS into the ANAFI AI allowing users of the UAVIA robotic platform to perform drone missions remotely, using 4G connectivity. Users can control the drone and the camera without being in the flight zone, and invite guests to participate in the mission in real time thanks to the video streaming function of UAVIA DroneOS.

“Our collaboration with UAVIA is fully in line with Parrot’s strategy regarding the open ecosystem that we have created around the ANAFI Ai. Integrating UAVIA technology with our open software architecture is the perfect example of how a partner can effectively complement and enhance ANAFI Ai’s capabilities to address new market segments and expand professional use,” says Chris Roberts, Parrot Sales and Marketing Director.

“This collaboration is natural because UAVIA and Parrot share a similar vision of the connected drone and the way users expect to interact with them”, adds Pierre Vilpoux, CEO of UAVIA. “This convergence has been enhanced by the compatibility of the architectures of our respective products, and this complete integration takes the autonomous drone to the next level.”

Attention to cybersecurity and data sovereignty are points of focus for both companies whose teams work closely together to ensure that customers around the world benefit from this integration for more and more use case.

UAVIA is a software publisher providing a standardized collaborative platform to manage autonomous drone operations: “UAVIA Robotics Platform”. Multiple users around the world can access UAVIA’s AI to control heterogeneous drone fleets, while having data processed and shared in real time for a wide range of value-added applications.

UAVIA teams are focused on delivering the best secure product to customers, merging the company’s innovative patents with the latest advanced technologies behind an effortless UX interface. The UAVIA Robotics platform is designed to meet the expectations of industrial operators in terms of cybersecurity and data sovereignty, and natively designed to operate in any complex environment.
