Web & Marketing Team – BikeBiz

Stif Web & Marketing team – Job offer

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our growing web and marketing team at the Summerbridge head office, just outside Harrogate.

This role is incredibly varied, but the workload will be spread over 2 staff members.

The role will include:

  • Creation of seasonal, weekly and monthly products.

This includes copyrights and unique images uploaded to the Shopify e-commerce platform, at a very high level, for all inventory sold on our website.

This includes riding apparel, streetwear, parts and accessories.

From there, you will also be responsible for:

  • Social media content management and planning.
  • Social media messaging, engagement and responses.
  • Concept of print media, photography and design.
  • Email marketing campaign designs.
  • Videography based on products and features.
  • Blog/Feature copyright/images.
  • Assistance with event management.
  • Management and marketing of team riders.

The ideal candidate would be meticulous and methodical in their approach to creating, organizing and uploading content to the online store. Ensure that each product uploaded to the site is accurate, properly labeled and linked to our inventory management system. You will be left to complete this task on your own and will be required to work within a time frame set by the stock ETA in our warehouse. All products must be created and ready to go at that time.

Using product creation and web content as a foundation, you will then need to promote and market the above product on our website via blog/features pages, social media, print media, direct mail and videos. Therefore, you will also need experience using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Premier Pro) or similar, as well as a high level of computer literacy and familiarity with social media scheduling and email marketing software such as LATER & Mailchimp.

Action photography and a good eye for cycling culture/lifestyle photography would also be required, and a basic understanding of HTML would be preferred but not essential as training will be carried out.

The role would also include assisting our Marketing Director with events throughout the year and would require the candidate to manage our team riders. Managing the team riders would consist of organizing their ride/bike kit(s) for the season, having a detailed schedule of the races they will be doing, and ensuring they provide content for use in the marketing.

The salary is £24,000 to £27,000 depending on experience.
